Use only the official government portal to avoid fraud.

This option is available without logging in.

Enter Your PAN and Aadhaar

Enter your 10-digit PAN number and 12-digit Aadhaar number in the respective fields. Enter your name as per Aadhaar records.

Ensure the name matches exactly as on your Aadhaar card.

4

Pay the Late Fee (if applicable)

You can check the linking status after a few days on the same portal.

Consequences of Inoperative PAN
If your PAN becomes inoperative due to non-linking, you will face these restrictions:
Cannot file income tax returns
Pending refunds will not be processed
TDS deducted at higher rates (up to 20%)
Cannot open new bank accounts
Cannot invest in mutual funds or stocks
Cannot buy/sell property above ₹10 lakh
