Terms of Service

1. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable Indian or international laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content or data from the Platform without permission.
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code.
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the Platform in a manner that places excessive load on our servers.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity.
• Use the Platform to facilitate tax evasion or any fraudulent financial activity.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at legal@taficon.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting forms.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits is prohibited.

• Tax laws change frequently. We strive to keep our calculators current but cannot guarantee they reflect the latest amendments at all times.
• Taficon is not liable for any tax assessment, penalty, or financial loss arising from reliance on information provided by the Platform.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, code, design, logos, blog articles, and calculators — is owned by or licensed to Taficon and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of any data you upload (e.g., bank statements). By uploading data you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service to you.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

• The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• In no event shall Taficon be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit or data, arising from your use of the Platform.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we determine you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith for at least 30 days.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms with an updated date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
